DescriptionI have tried three different file formats for the alignments, and none are selectable when choosing this function from the data menu. when the concatenate function is selected, a file open window appears, with all content files greyed out, unselectable, and there is no way to specify what filetypes mega should be looking for

Hi Rachel,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the alignment concatenation feature in MEGA. To use this feature, you specify a directory where the source alignment files are located. Then MEGA will search for two types of files to include in the concatenated alignment (MEGA (.meg) alignment files and Fasta (.fas) alignment files).
