0000118: Amino acid color code
I am writing to ask why some of the same amino acids are represented in different colors. I've specifically noticed that serine shows up as green and yellow. Is there a reason for this and a code to understand why the same amino acid shows up as a variable color? I could not find anything except the standard color code in the manual.

Thank you,
Nicole

Hi Nicole,

I am writing in response to your question regarding amino acid color codes in MEGA. I cannot duplicate the issue that you describe. Can you send me a screen shot that shows it?

Interestingly, when I updated to MEGA 7, I do not see the same issue.

Thank you for your time,
