Summary0001574: not able to open trees from MrBayes
DescriptionI am trying to open the attached tree generate with the software MrBayes. It is suposed to be in Nexus format, but Mega is not able to open it while Figtree opens it. I've tried different import methods, changing the file extension and content.

Additional InformationWould be awesome to surpass any other software in this sense

Hi Alejandro,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. To open the tree in MEGA you should first convert it to the newick format (see attached). To do this, I opened the tree file in FigTree and then clicked File->Export Trees... Then in the options window, I selected the newick tree file format.
