I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. I cannot reproduce the problem you describe. Which version of MEGA are you using? Also, can you send a screen shot of the error/issue you encountered?

Hi Huda,
Thanks for sending the screen shots. It looks like some change on the BLAST website is causing the issue for MEGA7. Unfortunately, MEGA7 is no longer under development and this issue will not be fixed in MEGA7. The workaround is to use your own web browser to access the BLAST web page and then export BLAST results to a FASTA file that can be imported into MEGA7. Alternatively, you can install the newest version of MEGA (MEGAX) and use that instead. |
