DescriptionPerforming more than two pairwise distance analyses causes the third analysis to generate the following error code:

"Oh no!" An error occurred when setting up the options dialog: List index (-1) out of bounds"

No additional pairwise distance analyses can be performed as it prevents selection of analysis criteria and the analysis itself.

The error code is "fixed" by deleting the MEGAX cache files (entire MEGAX folder) in the ".../AppData/Local" section of the users files on Windows. The error resumes following an additional two pairwise distance analyses.

This error seems to generate only after using my specific distance parameters:

Bootstrap method: 500
nucleotide
p-distance
d: transitions + transversions
Gamma distributed with invariant sites (G+ I+)
Gamma parameter 8.0
Pairwise deletion
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and noncoding sites selected

I tested using the default settings and was able to proceed beyond the 3rd analysis indefinitely.
Steps To Reproduce1. Load multiple sequence alignment into MEGA
2. Press "Analyze"
3. Press "Distance" --> "Compute Pairwise Distance ..."
4. Run using above parameters
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4
6. Repeat steps 1 - 4 (should now fail)
