Hello Kurt Reinhart,

  Thanks for your bug report concerning saving large trees as tiff files. I just finished re-designed the tiff saving feature to avoid this issue. The fix will be available in MEGA5 which should be released as a Beta in the next couple of weeks (if everything goes well).
