0001920: The Tree Data from MEGAX could'nt be read in MEGA7.
Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software.

I want to transfer my Tree data that I was runned in MEGAX (MTSX File) to MEGA7, but MEGA7 could'nt read the data. They said the data may corrupted.
This is happen for the first time. I usually work with both softwares, bcs run the data in MEGAX much easier than MEGA7, but to review the results much easier in MEGA7 than MEGAX. That's why, I runned the Phylogeny Tree in MEGAX then I'll review the result in MEGA7. But today, the data couldn't read.

Here I attached the screenshoots of MEGA7's notifications when I tried to transfer the Tree Data (MTSX file).

Hi Ridha,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. MEGA session files are not backwards compatible. This is a known limitation. If you want to work with tree files between different versions of MEGA, you should export them to Newick files instead of session files.
