Summary0001984: Unexpected application quit/closure in middle of clock tree analysis
DescriptionMEGA X application (macOS Mojave 10.14) unexpectedly quits/closes in the middle of analysis, whether it is forming a tree or performing a clock analysis. Any 'heavy-duty' analysis in MEGA X shuts down the application unexpectedly, so I cannot perform any complex analyses on MEGA.

This appears to just be an out of memory error. We really need to fix this for MP trees.

We need to update the Mega source code to catch the out of memory error and end the calculation gracefully. This shouldn't be too difficult. We should be able to accomplish this by putting a try/except/finally around the memory allocation code and if we get an eoutofmemory error we can end the calculation and inform the user that they will have to use an inference method that is less memory-intensive.
