The user can use underscore as follows.
>Escherichia_coli_...
agagctgg...
The problem came from the fact that MEGA file format restrict the number of characters for taxon label to 40 but many sequence title in GenBank is much longer. If we allow longer taxon label, however, user will see only taxon label on AE. So, we should make clear the usage of underscore, which, I think, is the best way. |

Hi Qian,
I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. The error you describe is caused by trying to install a 64-bit application on a 32-bit computer. MEGA7 is for 64-bit computers only. If you need a 32-bit version of MEGA, you can use MEGA6.
