DescriptionHello,

When editing a data file, specifically defining domains and then saving the results, the program crashes. Please see the file attached.

The data file is large, about 90 Mb. (1000 sequences 22kbp each)

Hello Toranj,

I am responding to the bug report you submitted on 7/24.

The bug report you submitted was somewhat confusing. I’ll address your issues one at a time.

1. I see that you included the bugreport.txt which MEGA automatically generates when it encounters an error.
It appears that this happened when closing down MEGA, we are working on fixing this now.
2. You encountered the “No common sites” message. This simply means that there weren’t enough sites to perform whatever analysis you selected after the deletion options (complete, partial, use all). Try changing to use all sites and see if this fixes the problem.
3. You are asking what the best options are for constructing a phylogenetic tree. The options to select really depend on your data and how you want to analyze it.
