Summary0002033: rolling bars not working
Descriptiongenerally this version seems to be glitching or freezing much more frequently than older versions. I cannot properly navigate the alignment with the rolling bars by holding them with the mouse. Also sometimes when loading the data or changing the genetic code the program freezes for several seconds. This did not happen with the previous versions. I am downgrading and hope these issues might be solved in the future.

Hello Thabatha,

When MEGA converts form a foreign format it doesn’t do as much checking as it should. What happened is that you probably have a valid MEG file, but the sequences are different lengths. This could be because some sequences are longer and they must be first aligned to be of equal length (or padded with gaps). Try opening the fasta file in megas alignment system, aligning then saving as meg (easiest way).
