Summary0002049: Installing in HPC environment
DescriptionHello,

I'd like to install bith the GUI and CC software on our HPC cluster. Do you have an best practices on how to achieve this? We current use spack to create modules which user then load and unload to set up their processing environments.

I have downloaded both the .tar and rpm version of the megacc code but it looks like the gui code is only offered in rpm formate?

We are using centos7.X environment

Hi James,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. We do not have any guidelines for running MEGA in a HPC cluster environment as MEGA is developed primarily as a desktop application. The gui is not distributed by itself as it won't run without setting up the environment first.
