Hi Tao,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. The error message you encountered happens because the MUSCLE program that MEGA uses is a 32-bit application and therefore cannot utilize all the memory available on your system. So unfortunately alignment of some large data sets in MEGA may not be possible. To work around this, you can use a program like MAFFT which is designed for alignment of large data sets.
