Summary0002475: MUSCLE Log File
DescriptionWe are encountering an issue where the software is unable to execute MUSCLE alignments due to it not having rights on the machine to write the log file. We're getting the message that the log file is not found. Could you possibly tell me the name of the log file or where MEGA by default attempts to write this file?

Hi Mark,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. The run log that MUSCLE writes to is located in the AppConfig directory. On Windows, this is %localappdata%\MEGAX\MEGA10_10XXXXXX-x86_64\Private\MUSCLE\ where XXXXXX is replaced by the build date. Can I ask which version of MEGA you are using (click Help->About on the main form to see)?
