Steps To Reproducewhile performing phylogenetic tree construction for amino acids (nucleotide sequence) using neighbour joining method the model type kimura-2- parameter is often not working. earlier is happened with tree construction of 16s rrna data too but when i kept trying it fixed after sometime. but this time it just simply shows that MEGA X has encountered problem , distance incalculable by kimura parameter.

I have attempted to replicate the problem you ran into but it seems the issue may be specific to the data you were using (either the content of the data, the size, etc.). If you can will you please send me the data file which you attempted to open which caused MEGA to freeze?
