0002785: Sluggish, erratic responses
I'm currently using MEGA X version 10.2.4 build 10210118 for basic sequence alignments, however the software is very erratic and sluggish with commands. For example, the sliding bar may or may not work, or if it does the sequences do not move with the bar or just blink. Selections of nucleotides and movements within the alignment window are very slow. Other features sometimes work at first click, or happen 2-3 seconds later, which is very annoying. I haven't yet worked with any other features, such as tree building, because just getting an alignment complete takes so long (regardless of sequence number or length). Reinstalling doesn't improve anything.

I've been using MEGA since it first appeared years ago, but I haven't had this much trouble with previous versions. Any advice is very much appreciated... thanks!
