Got a response from the user, pdf works fine. tiff is black and white by design.

Dear Glen,

Thank you for your response. Yes, the .PDF file is fine, thank you very much.

Regards!

Cannot duplicate the error and it is the only report of this issue so we will not pursue it further.

Hello there,

I am responding to the bug report you submitted regarding the ability to save tree images to .tif and .pdf files and have color changes preserved. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of MEGA when saving to .tif files, but it should work just fine for .pdf files. I am able to export the tree file you uploaded to a .pdf and have the color preserved (see attached). If this is not working on your system, there must be something that is specific to your system that MEGA is having trouble with. However, we are not able to offer a solution as this is the only report that we have received for this problem. If it is critical that you have a color image, maybe you could export the image to a .emf file and then use some other software to convert it to either .tif or.pdf as needed?

Best regards
