Summary0000330: Will MEGA7 run on MAC OS Sierra?
DescriptionHi, I'm a frequent user of the standalone GUI program and I was wondering if there were any issue with running the program on the newest OS, Sierra. I have not upgraded yet, but I wanted to know if the program would still work if I went ahead with the update.

Hi Megan,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. Although we have not had any users report that MEGA7 does not run on macOS Sierra, I have not tested it myself on that operating system. The Mac version of MEGA uses Wineskin as a compatibility layer and unfortunately, updates to Mac OS frequently cause issues with Wineskin and thus MEGA. Sorry I can't give a more definitive answer.
