Summary0003472: Program keeps glitching and crashing
DescriptionI just uninstalled and re-downloaded MEGA (v.11) from the MEGA software website because one of my alignment files (.mas) was unable to be read, and I thought reinstalling would fix the problem. However, it does not seem to be installing properly. When running a phylogeny, it continuously crashes between 200-1000 bootstrap replicates, and no matter what I am doing in the program my mouse pointer displays the "loading" icon whirl, even when nothing is open. I have tried reinstalling again, restarting my computer, etc. Nothing seems to be working. I never had any problems with MEGA (v.10.0.5)- seems to be an issue with this version.
Steps To ReproduceNot sure. I simply downloaded the latest Windows x64 version of MEGA (as of 2/18/22) from the website. Computer just does not seem happy about it. I'm operating on Windows 10.
