DescriptionHello,

I've been using MEGA on windows for several years. Recently, I purchased a Mac and immediately downloaded MEGA, but was not able to install your program. I followed the directions but I was not able to open the disk image file. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Matt,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software and installation. Most installation problems for MEGA on Mac systems are caused by security settings that do not allow applications downloaded from sources other than the appstore to be installed. If that is the issue, you can temporarily disable that feature in your security settings to allow MEGA to be installed. If not, it would be helpful if you could send me a screen shot of the error messages that are displayed when installation fails.

Thanks for getting back to me. It was a different issue, but one that was entirely mac based. I figured it out and have been happily using MEGA since. Thanks.
