Problem was that the molecular_clock.htm template was being loaded instead of the ml_tree.htm template. Fixed it so that the molecular_clock.htm caption is displayed by calling showClockTreeResults() |

Hi Yoshihiro,
I am writing in response to the bug report you submitted regarding crash when analyzing a user tree with molecular clock assumption in MEGA. Thanks for reporting this bug. We have resolved the problem and the patch will be included in the next release of MEGA.
Best regards,

Changed the template to report the p-value as P=some value. This is how any other program would report it. |

Hello Jorg,
I am responding to your question regarding how MEGA reports p-values for the molecular clock test. Indeed this is done in a confusing way. I think that a better way to express this result is probably to just report the p-value as it is (i.e. P = 5.47121430322315E-10) instead of using the greater than or less than symbols. I will confer with my colleagues on the best way to fix this. Any way, we will correct the problem so that the next release of MEGA does not cause this confusion. Thanks for reporting this issue!
Best regards,
Glen Stecher |
