Descriptionthe software crashes when I try to translate aligned nucleotide sequences, when I check for updates, and when i transfer between programs (like from alignment to phylogenetic trees with the same open data file).

Hello Chi,
I am responding to your feature requests regarding MEGA. First of all, thank you for the feedback! The suggestions you have provided are frequently requested by other MEGA users as well and we have begun working on incorporating these into MEGA. The next release of MEGA will be 5.1 which will support multithreaded execution of ML based analyses. Then for MEGA 6, which will be released a bit further in the future, we should have a version suitable for scripting/batch processing as well as the LG model. Again, thanks for the feedback!
