Summary0003665: PC/Mac incompatibility
DescriptionMy student is using the 64 bit Windows version of MEGA and shared a .mas DNA alignment file with me. I cannot open it with my 64 bit Mac version of MEGA. We will export the alignment out in FASTA format for the time being, but I hope you can improve the interoperating system compatibility issue. Thank you for this useful program, by the way.

I am responding to your feature request for inclusion of the LG amino acid substitution model in MEGA. We have added this item to our list of features to include in MEGA and it will indeed be implemented in a future version of MEGA. Thanks for your feedback!
