0003666: 例外コード: 0xc0000005
My environment is a PC with Windows 10 Pro, 64bit, Intel i7-4770, 3.4Gz memory 20GB. When testing with 500 bootstraps in the analysis of the Construct / test maximum likelihood tree, the program stops at the 104th bootstrap each time. Every time I check the windows event view, I get an error with "exception code: 0xc0000005". If I do the same with MGEGA-X using the same PC, no error occurs. As a countermeasure, I reinstalled MEGA 11 and updated Windows 10, but the symptom does not improve. It may be an error that depends on my PC environment, but I will report it just in case.

Dear Jean-Claude,

In order to run MEGA you should just be able to type the command ‘mega’ without calling the file itself. This is because the MEGA5.exe is actually a windows executable. By calling the command ‘mega’ it invokes a script which in turn opens MEGA through the Wine package which contains a linux native implementation of windows libraries for windows applications to run on Linux.

If just typing ‘mega’ without the quotes into the command line doesn’t make MEGA run, respond and I’ll try to figure out what’s going on (I haven’t used red-hat much).

Although we are dropping support for Linux, I have observed this same error message reported by Mac users ('exception message: Unable to extract necessary file private\Ini\MEGA50Stat.ini from RES file, creation %appdata% folders, and temp folders failed.'). This may be a common problem so we should probably check for this situation in a startup script and create any missing environment variables or directories or we should have it taken care of when building the Wineskin wrapper.

The user has not responded and we are also dropping installation support for Linux users as of version 5.1
