Summary0003870: Difficulty in constructing phylogenetic tree with ML bootstrap option using protein sequences
DescriptionDear Sir/Madam,
When I tried to do NJ method with bootstrap option, the software shuts itself. ML tree takes much longer time (was running more than 72 hours with 500 replications). I'm wondering if there is any error with the input sequences. I also have un and re installed the app twice. I don't know why I couldn't get the phylogenetic tree. I would appreciate if someone can help me in this regard.
Herewith I have also attached the input sequences for your kind reference.

Hello there,
I am responding to the bug report you recently submitted regarding an issue with Mega. Could you give a more detailed description of the problem? For instance, what action was being performed when the problem occurred? If an analysis was being run when the problem occurred, what was the analysis and what settings were being used? Also, have you tried re-installing the software as well as rebooting your computer?

Thank you for your attention and sorry for my delay as she refuse to answer your questions.
Yesterday, I went her home and figured out it's not related to Mega 5. But also it was related to viruses and some other problems.
When I solved them,Mega 5 ran correctly.
