Hello Beatrice,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding a problem when using MEGA on a Mac computer to perform a BLAST search. Unfortunately, MEGA is a native Windows application and is not optimized to run on the Mac platform. For Mac users that experience issues when using the Mac release of MEGA, we recommend downloading the Windows version of MEGA and running it on top of virtualization or emulation software such as Parallels, Crossover, or VMWareFusion.
