Summary0004266: MEGA X crashes whenever a phylogeny is bootstrapping
DescriptionReport bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software - Program crashes entirely when try to create a Maximum-likelihood tree (with default parameters; crashes at both 100 and 500 bootstrap replicates). Program seems to be fine with generating a Neighbour-Joining phylogeny.

Hello Nada,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted to the MEGA bug tracker regarding the tif export option. The tif option has been replaced in MEGA with an option for png export due to the inefficiency of the tif export implementation. If you need a tif image, you can just export to a png and use an application to convert it into a tif. For instance, you could open the png image in Microsoft Paint, then just save as a tif.
