DescriptionEvery time I open the MEGA Web Browser window when trying to access the query databanks, I use the dropdown menu to select "protein" instead of "nucleotide" the whole window freezes so that I can't search for the sequence I need, and add it to the alignment explorer window.
Steps To ReproduceOpen MEGA X, select "Align", select "Query Databanks", use the dropdown menu to select "protein" instead of "nucleotide"

Hello Biard,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Unfortunately, MEGA is a native Windows application and does not run well for all Mac users. For users that have difficulties with the Mac version, we recommend downloading the Windows version and running it via virtualization or emulation software such as VMWareFusion, Crossover, Parallels, Wine, etc…
