Since the MTS files generated with mega 5 are no longer supported by mega 6 and 7,
I'm trying to use mega 5 on osx Sierra.
- mega 5.05 start but there is no way to move the application windows since the upper parts of the windows (with the 3 colored button) doesn't display and the nwk format doesn't store the enriched annotation present in the mts.
- mega 5.1 / 5.2 are unable to launch with "sometimes" the following error message (The application X11 could not be opened .)

I do not think it is meaningfull, because the position of root is arbitrary except for UPGMA trees, for which all the node heights are displayed to compute root to node distances easily.
