Summary | 0005910: need fasta format by copy function
Description | Dear authors, I am a university teacher in molecular biology and use MEGA frequently. However, when the sequence is copied from MEGA, the resulting format is a 5-line module, which is very inconvenient to use when I need to copy many sequences to a text file. For example, when I copy a protein sequence named aaa, I need a 2-line fasta format of: >aaa MFSLKLFVVFVAVCICV However, MEGA provides a 5-line format: #aaa 0 MFSLKLFVVFVAVCICV Hopefully this will change in future versions. Thanks!
