Summary | 0000655: From Tree to Alignment
Description | Good morning MEGA support, Here's my enquiry: is there a way to select sequences in a tree and then transfer this selection to the alignment? I have a tree with many sequences, ca. 600. I want to trim the sequences eliminating all polyphyletic groups which are well shown in a NJ tree. Once I select all sequences I want to remove (or those I want to keep) is there a way to tell the software 'hey, build an alignment just with the sequences I selected'? I hope in your support, Best Stefano
