Hi Ines,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. It sounds like the data file you are using (129 MB) is too large for the analysis you are running. Could you send me the .mao and .fasta files you are using so I can duplicate the issue?

Hi Ines,

Thanks for sending those files. That dataset and the settings used are probably not going to work for megacc. I recommend downloading 64-bit MUSCLE from https://www.drive5.com/muscle/ [^] and using it directly as it has some useful options that are not available in megacc. If that doesn't work, I recommend using MAFFT which is available from https://mafft.cbrc.jp/alignment/software/ [^]
