Hi Preethi,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. Which version of MEGA are you using? In the latest release (MEGA7) when exporting to a newick file there is an option to include branch lengths. In earlier versions of MEGA, make sure that the View->Topology Only menu is not checked.
