Hi Robert,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Unfortunately, MEGA-CC has dependencies on GTK graphics libraries for historical reasons (MEGA was originally written as a GUI application) and therefore does not run easily on a headless server. The workaround is to use X11 forwarding using SSH.
