0000850: dot and comma issue (M10v10.0.2/4)
Dear developers, first of all, I want to say thanks for the great softwares you were developing. I have one issue, as I am in Agentina and we use "comma" as decimal separator and not "dot", when I try to align protein sequence using Clustal, it gives me an error related to "," and ".". If there is any further info I can give you, don´t hesitate to write me. Nicolás
Under Align, select Clustal alignment and wont work using either , or .

Hi Nicolas,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Thanks for the feedback. I have put together a new build of MEGA X that I think will resolve the issue with the decimal separator. This version forces the use of the dot character for decimals regardless of the locale. It can be downloaded from:

https://www.megasoftware.net/releases/MEGA_X_10.0.4_win64_setup_180731.exe [^]

Would you mind downloading this build, testing it out, and letting me know how it works? Thanks for your help.

Dear Glen,
I really appreciate your effort solving the problem, right now I am travelling through the UK and don't have my laptop with me. As soon as I get back to Argentina I will download this version and let you know how this worked for me.

Best,
Nico
