Summary0000862: can't open .mas file on mac
Descriptionmy mac is high sierra
i tried the mega7 gui for mac, mega7andXgui for windows through wineskin and crossover
none of these can open .mas file
when open, it is all empty
there are none sequences
while my classmate can open the same file on her windows mega7 correctly

Hi Manshi,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. The .mas files that MEGA produces for alignment sessions should not be shared across operating systems. To work with the data on another operating system, first export it to a .fas or .meg file. Then open that file on the other operating system.
