0000909: Tree format compatibility between MegaX and Mega7
The image quality of trees using the Tree Explorer of Mega7 is really very good. However, the Tree Explorer of MegaX do not produce figures with the same quality (for example, pdf archives seems pixeled). It could be very useful if the trees produced with MegaX can be exported in a format compatible with the Tree Explorer of Mega7, in addition to the possibility of export trees in a Newick format.

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. Thanks for the feedback! We have just updated the PDF export from MEGA's Tree Explorer window to produce a true vector graphics file. Please try out the new version which can be downloaded from:
