DescriptionHi

I'm trying to install megax on my pc with ubuntu 18.04, but I can't do. It's occuring the follow error:
dpkg: error processing archive megax_10.0.4-1_amd64.deb (--install):
 trying to overwrite '/usr/local/share/man/man1/megacc.1', which is also in package megacc 7.0.26
Processing triggers for man-db (2.8.3-2) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
megax_10.0.4-1_amd64.deb

can you help me to install it?

I think that we\'re implementing this in HyPhy for MEGA 4.2.

Hi Rosiane,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA X software. To install MEGA X on your Linux computer you will need to first uninstall megacc using dpkg. Then when MEGA X is installed, the newest version of megacc will be included.
