| Summary | 0001481: Error in computing pairwise distances. | ||||||||
| Description | I am trying to make a phylogenetic tree from protein sequences. after alignment when i perform phylogeny it wont be able to procedd as dialog box appeared says some pairwise distances could not be estimated,for exmaple 0,0. I have tried clustal amd muscle both program for alignment and also tried older version of MEGA but the error remains. please let me know how to solve this problem. | ||||||||

The error you encountered indicates that your data has some sequence pairs for which it is not possible to calculate distances using the specified settings.
