| Summary | 0002188: Ask again checkbox changes nothing when exhausting paths |
| Description | During MP calculation of branch lengths, it is common for my data to have tricky positions. This means that I get the window with the tired face many times over the course of hundreds of thousands of positions.
The expected behaviour is for the "ask again" checkbox being unchecked to skip this window in the future and repeat my selection (Either skip or continue if the number is increased). The calculation should then run without user input.
Instead, the window will pop up again and again. This causes problems either if I am using the computer or not. If I am at the computer typing, the window will come into focus, abruptly and move the cursor to the "Num Paths Before Prompt" textbox. This disrupts my typing. I could almost not type this email. In the second case, me not being at the computer, the counter sometimes will not trigger any action either sometimes and I will wake up to an incomplete calculation.
I always thought this was a byproduct of using a wine application. |

2. Calculate MP
3. Calculate branch lengths.
4. Wait to surpass max paths to explore per site.
6. Be utterly disrupted constantly and (when the counter is feeling creative and 0 does not mean 0) enslaved by the functionality of the program while your analysis is running...
7. Lose your mind crafting an email. |
| Additional Information | Just to give you a test, I am sending a slice of my FASTA alignment. This will happen over the almost 1mm sites in my real dataset. |
