DescriptionI'm trying to align 437 DNA sequences with about 16,600 bases each, but after several weeks of processing the alignment doesn't finish.
I do not know if this is due to MEGA having a time or memory restriction?

 Hi Julio,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Unfortunately, MEGA is not optimized for aligning large data sets. For aligning large data sets you may want to use something like MAFFT.
