| Summary | 0000246: incompatibilty w 5 & 7, and macs |
| Description | Why does version 5.2 of Mega not seem to work on Macs? I always get an error message when I try to open 5.2.
( I am new to use of Macs, so some things obvious to Mac users may be opaque to me)
I have a number of older alignments that I built in version 5. Version 7 doesn't seem to work well with them - I can open, but not translate DNA seq to Amino acid seq, cannot so many manipulations. so I would like to have a working version of Mega 5 to use along w version 7.
