| Description | Hi, I am using Mega but I wanted to use more efficiently therefore, I try to follow your walk through examples. However, I cannot apply the information to my analysis since some points regarding data preparation seems to be skipped. for example : In Inferring Gene Duplications tutorial, how do you prepare Species Tree file? I think the preparation of data files should also be included in the tutorials. | ||||||||

Hi Firat, I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. Thanks for the feedback. All trees used as input for MEGA need to be in the Newick format, including the species tree if used in the gene duplication analysis.
