Descriptionwhile trying to open a collaborator file, I got the following message:

"Incompatible session file. The file was generated by a windows 64-bit system but this is a macOS 64-bit system"

Any solutions or work-arounds?

Hi Gustavo,

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software session files. The session files that MEGA creates are binary files and are not portable across computing platforms. To share analysis results between computers on different platforms, you can export results to text formats (Newick files for trees, .meg or FASTA files for alignment data, .meg for distance matrices, etc…). The text formats are portable.
