Summary | 0004701: Impossible to create a Maximum-Likelihood tree |
Description | I have an alignment of about 40 sequences and approximately 200 nucleotides each one. When I try to do the Maximum Likelihood tree, I use 2000 bootstrap replicates, and in the process it gets stuck and doesn't progress (sometimes it even closes). This usually happens to me long before I reach 1000 replications (between 300 and 700, depending on the moment, sometimes even before reaching 100 replicates).
As a solution, I thought that if it started from a Neighbor-Joining that I had previously done, it would be easy for the software. But it was not so.
I have tested with the last two versions (MEGA X and MEGA 11), and on three different computers. And the same thing always happens...Imposible hacer un árbol Maximum-Likelihood |
