Hi Dorsa,

I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. Can you describe the problem you encountered in detail? Which version of MEGA are you trying to use? What are the specifications of your computer (operating system, RAM, etc...)? When you run the installer are any error messages displayed? How are you launching the application? Are any error messages displayed?

Hi Dora,

Sorry for the late response. Could you perform the following test for both versions 6.06 and 7 on your computer?

In Finder go to your Applications folder and right-click the MEGA application and select 'Show Package Contents'.
Double-click the Wineskin application that is shown in Finder.
Select 'Advanced' in the Wineskin application window.
Click on 'Test Run' in the Wineskin advanced options.
After MEGA closes, a window should appear asking if you want to view the run logs. Click the 'View' button.
Save the contents of the LastRunWine.log and LastRunX11.log (adding MEGA6 and MEGA7 to the file names to match which version of MEGA was being used) that are displayed and send them to me.

Also, as an alternative to using the Mac version of MEGA you could use the Windows version and run it using VMWareFusion or some other virtualization software. Unfortunately, some users have encountered issues with the Mac version of MEGA as it uses Wineskin as a compatibility layer for the win32 api because MEGA is a native Windows application.
