Description | Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software
Steps To Reproduce | ./megacc -h
Additional Information | Dear Dr. Tamura, I downloaded the newest release megacc-7.0.26-1.x86_64.tar.gz and uncompressed it. When I run megacc by "./megacc -h", I get info like this: (megacc:11380): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: Wherever I copy it, I always get this info. However, I coped an old version from my colleague, and this compiled megacc can print info correctly. Could you please check this problem? Thanks a lot! Hi Xuan, I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. It looks like you are running MEGA-CC on a headless server but the current MEGA-CC has some dependencies on GTK. You can either run MEGA-CC on a computer that has a windowing system installed or use something like X11 tunneling. If you are not running on a headless server then you will have to resolve the dependencies on your own system. -- Best regards, Glen Stecher Institute for Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine igem.temple.edu |
