| Description | Report bugs or other issues regarding the MEGA software
I have been using MEGA for years. Since yesterday, I am unable to calculate ML phylogeny with higher number of bootstraps. It does not work for any dataset I have tried, even for those calculated in the past. Sometimes, I am able to get a tree with, e.g., 50 bts but never for 1000 bts - it freezes or simply shuts down. I have tried this on 4 different computers at three institutes with both WIN10 and WIN11.
My colleague has not been able to run the file using LINUX few hours ago - the process has failed similarly.
One time I have got an error report (Invalid pointer operation) but usually it simply dissapears from the desktop - the same file at different stages of bootstraping. |
