Summary | 0006600: Mega crashes while doing maximum-likelyhood tree |
Description | Dear MEGA team,
I am using MEGA 11 in a Dell Vostro (intel core i5, 8gb RAM). I have downloaded and aligned 80 sequences of 10,2kb from Genbank. But, while trying to make a maximum-likelyhood tree (1000 bootstraps, by GTR or JC models) it crashes. No error message. It just shuts down around 100-200th bootstrap.
I am aware I do not have an ideal hardware to begin with, but a few weeks ago I was able to do the same analysis of a very similar dataset in an overnight run.
Regards,
Camila Baez, PhD |
