Summary0000929: Tree PDF difficult to modify
DescriptionI have worked with MEGA5-7. I tried MEGA-X (64 bit), and am pleased with the tree I got (tested the data on 6 and 7 as well). However, in previous versions, I would save the tree image as a PDF, which I was then able to modify in Adobe Illustrator (primarily thicken lines and increase text size and weight). However, with MEGA-X, not only can I not modify the PDF tree image, but the image looks sloppy and pixelated. Has the way MEGA exported the image to PDF changed with X?

I am writing in response to your question regarding the MEGA software. Thanks for the feedback! We have just updated the PDF export from MEGA's Tree Explorer window to produce a true vector graphics file. Please try out the new version which can be downloaded from:
